I hope everyone is doing well.
Today, I have a special product feature about Mother's Day gift ideas!
We all wonder what we can get our beloved moms who do so much for us and that's why I'm here to help.
What better than to get something unique from NEW PEOPLE the Store!?!
Here are a few suggestions from NP Store staff~
(1) BITOWA Containers
These are currently on 20% off sale with two types, ones made fully out of resin & ones made of wood with a resin coating. Wonderfully vibrant colors will add a bit of pop as useful decor. I'm sure many fashion-and-art-loving moms would appreciate these dainty containers as they can be used for storing various items while making an artsy statement on their desks/tables at work or home.
Cocoro - resin
Cute little cup type which is good for holding small accessories like rings.
Sakazuki - resin
Stack of cups that can be used for a variety of things, like a saké cup or cupcake/sweets bowl.
Shiki - wood
Interesting container with a pointed lid, great for an eye-catching addition as handy decoration on your desk or table. Gotta store them designer animal-shaped paper clips and rubber bands somewhere!
Haru - wood
A round cup type with a slightly flat shape which is good for storing larger accessories like watches or bracelets.
Aki - wood
Round flat medium-sized containers good for holding yummy little treats like bite-sized chocolates. Mmmm, yum.
Fuyu - wood
More round flat containers, but larger than the Aki; interesting ones for storing those lovely pearl necklaces, silver crystal pendants, and the like. Either that or we slap on some nice wax paper & place a few cookies out at a party.
(2) TSUYAKO Household Cleaner Sheets
Useful "magic" cleaner sheets, just add water! It comes in a cute little cardboard-like container, which can be used to hold small items like loose change. Ecological, compact, and just all-around handy. It really is just a fun little gift that helps around the house. Best part is that you can (and should) offer your services to help clean the house with this!
Tsuyako Home Eraser - 8 rolled sheets
(3) SIWA Totes
Handy and sturdy totes made out of paper! Hmm, paper? Now, maybe that sounds like they're not very strong, but they are made out of a material called "Naori" (polyolefin and wood pulp) which makes them resistant to tearing & water resistant. They have an incredibly soft cloth-like texture and comes in an array of colors. Cool totes for a mom on the go - shop till you drop is the motto haha.

(4) Ripple Sand Clock
A 3-minute hourglass shaped sand "clock" by I.D.E.A. International; just enough time to make some tea (or cup ramen)! The beautiful ripple wave design makes it a lovely piece to display so it 's always fun to use. With three different color choices in frost white with pink sand; white with white sand; and maple brown with dark brown sand, it's hard to resist getting them all! Let mom know she can relax for a cup of tea while enjoying the delight of watching the sand run, as you shower her with love by doing the chores.

The following are a few other suggested products not yet available at the online store, but definitely worth checking out!
(5) KYO-TO-TO
Products made with designs from both Tokyo & Kyoto aesthetics, these are cool items with a more "traditional" Japanese feel.
Uchiwa/Hand Fans - $19.50
Lovely hand fans with pretty embroidery & patterns; help mom keep cool during the warmer months ahead.
Coin Purses - $36.50
Fun coin purses with beautiful embroidery; good for holding makeup or knick-knacks to help keep mom's purse organized.
Totes - $39
More totes than you can handle! (Sorry for the lame pun-joke) Quirky patterns make it a fun tote for mom when she wants to pack a few books (or whatever she needs while on the go) to take with her.
(6) TAKARA GALLERY T-shirts
Currently going for half off the original price of $45, you can get mom a cute designer t-shirt for $22.50! Unique and interesting, each design has a little tag noting the meaning behind the print.
Zebra - Takeshi Yamakawa
" 「つながり- connection-」I was conscious of "connection". People feel that the zebra's stripes are either being created, or, they're being "striped" away. The future is connected to the present.
" 「はるなつ - HaruNatsu-」Short sleeve t-shirts are worn during spring and summer, right? I was thinking about spring summer, spring summer... and then I drew that picture. The letters amuse me.
Alphabet - Mari Doigawa
"「untitled」
Actually the letter's form is interesting. I'm used to seeing those figures, so I didn't think about it. I'm playing with the Alphabet, which is familiar.
